PML-N rally stopped from proceeding towards President House

ISLAMABAD: A rally was taken out on Shahra-e-Dastoor by the PML-N which was led by opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar. During the rally participants chanted ‘go Zardari go’ slogans. The rally was stopped from proceeding towards the President House by the police. The participants of the rally tried to climb the gates of the President House during which pushing and shoving took place between them and the police. Participants of the rally then staged a sit in outside the President House. Addressing the rally Chaudhry Nisar said that this was a message to the fake leaders of the country. He added that two convicted people had occupied the President and Prime Minister House. “The President should leave his palace and see the state the people are in,” Nisar said.
