Two killed, five hurt in Peshawar suicide blast

PESHAWAR: A suicide blast in Peshawar’s suburban area Budh Bair targeted the leader of Aman Lashkar on Tuesday that killed two policemen, Geo News reported. According to SP Rural Peshawar Shafiullah, a suicide bomber targeted the vehicle of former mayor and leader of Aman Lashkar, Fahim Khan at Bazaid Khel. Fortunately Fahim was not present in the car at the time of attack and remained safe, however, two policemen were killed and five others including a child were hurt, SP told. Special police force members who were killed in the blast were identified as Abdul Jabbar and Naheedullah. The bodies and injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital while security forces cordoned off the area. At least 8 kilograms of explosives were used in the blast, bomb disposal squad told.
